Amy Adam's as Janis Joplin? Directed by Lee Daniels? YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Yes. You read that right. Daniels and Adams are in talks to both join the project Janis Joplin: Get It While You Can. Which sounds just ah-mazing. Read all about it here!

Ang Lee's Life of Pi looks like it's going to be awesome.

Based on the Yann Martel novel of the same name, Life of Pi looks to be a neat adaptation by the director of such movies as Sense and Sensibility and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.  Read all about it in the New York Times here.

Life of Pi is set to open November 21st.

Daniel Day-Lewis for President! 

No, but seriously...why is Daniel Day-Lewis so awesome? Why does he look so cool with a beard? And why does he love milkshakes so much? These are just some of the questions I always have when I come across this amazing actor.

But Day-Lewis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones AND James Spader all in the same movie? And directed by none other than Steven Spielberg? With all these awesome movies coming out, I'm going to be really upset if the world does end in December. Both this movie and Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby with Leonardo DiCaprio don't come out until next year...

Snape is Ronald Reagan? Whaaaaaaaaa?!

A first look at Alan Rickman and Jane Fonda as President Ronald Reagan and Nancy Reagan was released on Oprah Winfrey's Twitter account. I must say, the makeover that both Rickman and Fonda received to get into their roles is incredible.

Philip Seymour Hoffman AND Joaquin Phoenix in the same movie? Gods above, my life is complete.

If you don't admire both PSH and Joaquin Phoenix as actors, then you are probably a robot. Paul Thomas Anderson's The Master looks like it's going to be bursting with talent, suspense, and vague reference to Scientology. What more could you want?!

The Master is set to open September 21st.
